The Thermostat Wars: Orange Plastic vs. The Void
The Honorable Judge Steel, presiding
Case #1e2eac1… · Filed Jun 23, 2026 · No appeals. Don't even try.
WeedMaster has submitted a passionate, if structurally chaotic, defense of Inkbird temperature controllers over the STC-1000. Raf has submitted the philosophical equivalent of a shrug and called it a legal strategy. This court is unimpressed with both, but for very different reasons.
Prevailing
WeedMaster 👑
Inkbirds offer precision, ease of configuration, built-in protections, and are available across multiple models — suggesting a versatile product line that outperforms the STC-1000 on multiple practical axes.
Dissenting
Raf
Silence. Raf's strongest argument is, literally, that they did not submit one. They then narrated this fact as if it were clever.
🔍 The Court's Analysis
1. WeedMaster's argument is enthusiastic, vaguely structured, and ends with 'So, there!' — which is not a citation, not a conclusion, and not something this court has ever seen in a winning brief. The color orange is not a technical specification. 2. However, there are actual claims here: precision, configurability, protections, model range. Thin, but present. Oxygen is thin at altitude and people still breathe it. 3. Raf's argument is passive-aggression wearing a monocle. 'The defense has entered silence as their argument. Very convincing.' is not wit — it is a jab disguised as observation, and this court sees through it like glass. 4. The fatal flaw in Raf's reasoning is that mockery of an argument is not a counter-argument. You cannot win a debate by pointing at the other person and raising an eyebrow. That is not philosophy. That is a Reddit comment. 5. WeedMaster said something. Raf said nothing and then congratulated themselves for it. The bar was low. WeedMaster cleared it by tripping over it face-first and still landing on the other side.
The Court Rules
WeedMaster presented an actual position with identifiable claims. Raf presented a posture. This court judges arguments, not attitudes, and only one party submitted an argument.
"Silence is only a power move when the other side has said something worth being silent about. They hadn't. You still lost."
So ordered, with unnecessary ceremony,
